Willie Nelson will be turning 80 in April. Why not let him have a late celebration at the 40th TBF?
WILCO
Any chance of a Hornsby collaboration with the Tupac hologram?
This will be my 21st Bluegrass, and this lineup has to be in my top three. The only thing that would make it better -
RRE
Greensky
Elizabeth Cook
John Fullbright
Black Lillies
Neko Case
Is that asking too much?
Oh, BABY! We can only Dream! :evil

I love the lineup so far! I hope they add Allison Krauss and Patty Griffin. I’d also like to see them add Ray LaMontagne or Amos Lee. I know they’re not bluegrass but Amos Lee puts on an incredible live show.
Since most of the lineup has been announced already, and given that many of our friends share the stage with one another throughout the festival, it seems that we’re probably talking about only a few open spots left. Given that its the 40th, I’d like to suggest that the remaining spots be filled with artists from each of the previous 4 decades - of course, Sam, Tim, and Peter pretty much take care of that ;). Think of it as a nod to our youthful past, and acknowledgement of our evergrowing maturity … So - in the spirit of anniversaries, collaborations, and a trip down memory lane, won’t it be cool to have a Nickel Creek reunion in Town Park?
Happy New Year, Festivarian Nation! :cheers
I second the request for Ray LaMontagne! I want to have that man’s babies. I swear. I love his music so much.
Hearing rumors I’ll suppose I’ll suggest it now plus they’ve always been on my top 3 list to see return to TBGF…
:eek The String Cheese Incident!!! :thumbsup
Dropkick Murphys? Ok, wrong crowd. But fun band!!
i like the lineup so far but would be soooo stoked for just 2 more additions:
the DAWG
les claypool’s duo de twang
pretty please?
I had no idea that was a thing! I’ve always wanted Les and Victor Wooten to do something together. The two best electric bass players in the world putting out some fantastic jam business. They could even get Phil Lesh to play a few tunes with them.
+1, Great Idea
Let’s run with Claypool… I’m thinking, Claypool/Buckethead acoustic in the gloaming…Naked, except for a couple cowboy hats and boots (and masks of course). I said GODDAMN!!!
Roll Tide Roll :flower
That duo de twang sounds awesome and the Dawg definately needs to be there and maybe Chis Stapleton’s new band the Jompson Brothers?
