So we just post under general discussion now? Can we get to the old board to see stuff from earlier? I have to say I’m not impressed with the new format. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

In fact you posted there a few months back!
All content from the old forum (except for private messages) transferred over here in the same categories as the original but yes it does have a different look and feel here. You can always access the old forum here: http://old.festivarian.com/ but no new content has been posted there since 2022.
As for why this transition was made, the forum migrated from Simple Machines Forum to Discourse because SMF had become clunky and hard to maintain/subject to hacks as the stack was very outdated.
No doubt it takes some getting used to though! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ping me!
