Two year plan to move to Colorado

This one time…after Telluride (just this past TBF '08) I woke up one morning, about a week or so home from TBF, and said “I’m leaving Las Vegas” and as of July 22, 2008 I have been a resident of beautiful Denver, Colorado! (some Thanks to Jen-gipper is in order!)

Hurry up and get here before the weather changes!!!

Hey Miki :wave,

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, that is something I am going to consider.

I actually live in Washington, DC (in the Adams Morgan neighborhood) so if you know anyone who wants live in a cool 1 bedroom with a view of the Washington Monument and wants to hang in Barack’s town then please pass them my way!
:cheers

:wave Hey Billy now is the time! Some beautiful property for sale around Lyons, the prices right now are a once in a life time happening around here. :medal

So rent your place out and get yer keester over here.

I wish I could move my office to Lyons, tried, but to costly.

:wave Billy! :wave Sorry we didn’t get to meet last summer. So you feel like taking a fellow Virginian with you out there lol!!! After last summer I’ve been trying to convince the wife that moving is a must. Anyone feel like twisting her arm a bit more for me?!

BIG UPDATE!

It’s official, I am moving to Colorado. I move into a pad in Boulder, CO starting August 1st. :hop :hop :hop

I will see you all first at TBF and RG and look forward to the “other” good times that await.

:thumbsup

See you soon!

:thumbsup Way to go BillyB!!! :thumbsup :cheers

Looking forward to partying with you at TBF and RG!
More will come. :cheers

WoW that is awesome for ya. We gave up on our Co plans and got a place North of Asheville in the mountains love it so :cheers to you fellow festivarian

Jen, you are correct, an update is needed.

UPDATE

The eagle (and his beagle) have landed in Boulder! :hop :hop :hop

Touchdown occurred July 31st and merriment, excluding the Fourmile fire, has resulted ever since:

  • Franti at Red Rocks
  • Folks Festival
  • Pagosa Folk Festival (the Dusters and Sammy were SICK!)
  • Two night run of Drew Emmitt at the Nomad Theatre - ridiculous!

Thanks to all the support in getting us out here. As Yonder says “life is better there”.

So much music to see but circle October 9th, at the Fox, for Cornmeal.

Peace :wave,

BB

Nice job, Billy. It only took you 6 page’s worth of forum postings to make it!

Yeah, Hooch, sorry that this thread took away from your Cracked magazine reading time.

It’s okay. I just look at the pictures anyway.

Congrats on your move to Colorado, I have read the entire thread and wanted to say that I admire someone who goes out and gets what they want. Two years to plan for something like this must of been challenging at times. I have been trying to talk my wife into moving from Ohio to either North or South Carolina. So far it’s a no go, she doesn’t want to be that far away from her family, but I am really over the cold winters here. Good luck to you in Colorado.
