Be aware of Scammers! In particular, someone with the email address of rhroofing194@gmail.com. I thought I was buying a camping pass, but …
I hope to get my money back from PayPal. Just sending the alert out.
Dang. This user tried to scam me last week too - I’m sorry I didn’t report them. Here is the text I replied to their message with, hopefully it’s useful for you or anyone in the future:
Hi there @Rhroofing - I would love to take those passes off your hands. No offense, but you’ve only had a Festivarian account for a single day which makes me a bit nervous.
If you actually have tickets to exchange - I would want to use the formal process alongside PlanetBluegrass and SeeTickets to ensure I’m not getting scammed. You can read more about that here: 2025 Ticket Transfer Process Information
Essentially you will contact PlanetBluegrass and receive a refund for your tickets, and give them my information so that I’ll be able to re-purchase the tickets directly from them.
Let me know if you’re open to this, thanks!
So sorry this happened but thanks for letting us know.
We’ve deleted this user’s account and have taken additional measures to help ensure they don’t start another account.
There’s a pinned warning in each ticket exchange section with tips to prevent getting scammed. Take a moment to review the information to protect yourself in the future!
I told him the same thing about a week ago that I would only purchase his tickets through the PB exchange and he never responded after that. Just crickets. I hope PBG can respond to this and NOT SEND HIM TICKETS that he supposedly has paid for.
