I don’t think I am supposed to tell anyone but… 3/5 of the group of us who usually do the Bloody Mary Morning aren’t going to be at Telluride this year. If anyone else would be interested in taking it over… we really don’t mind. We generally made 3 five gallon buckets of them. If you did two and just quit when they were gone, that would be fine too.

On the same note, there’s another camp of friends that annually celebrates the “Bowl of Life” during the festival. Sometimes I’ve missed it, but most times I haven’t. It’s a concoction they’ve developed (that’s very tasty) and is passed around in a large bowl for everyone to partake in. It’s meant to be a celebration of life both past and present.
It’s more or less a private celebration, but worthy of mention. :cheers

oh… deep breath… i am not quite ready for all of this… but close… uh… i have to figure out if I can even afford such an undertaking this year… and then i have to find at least two full days to devote to making them. Do I need two functioning eyes to do that or will one do?

Sam, over the last few years, LuAnna has given us an amazing gift :flower by preparing buttons with a TBF picture and the name of pretty much anyone on the old list who wanted one. We have chipped in to help with her costs, but she does work very hard to prepare them. :whip With this new list, I can’t imagine the number of requests she will have!

I only say that because I know that LuAnna is a tad uncomfortable with asking for money for the buttons. This takes any pressure off of LuAnna and allows people to contribute an amount that is comfortable for them.
We should all keep in mind… LuAnna has been doing this out of the kindness of her heart for a few years now. It’s costly…
