Do most of the nightgrass shows start on time, at 11pm for Sheridan Yonder and Palm Theater shows? Always makes it a toss up on staying for the end of the shows at the main stage compared to running over for the start of nightgrass. I think I finally won some lottery tickets this year.
They start pretty close to on time - yeah. They definitely don’t wait for the main stage set to end. For the Nightgrass shows I’ve attended with multiple sets, I feel like many people who stay for the Town Park finales don’t make it until close to the second set (I’ve always prioritized my Nightgrass tickets so I can’t say for sure any specific times).
Are all the tickets allocated now? Did anyone else get good news over the weekend? I’m feeling thankful that we got tickets to the one show I was desperate to see, slightly sad that I will miss so many others but I really hope all my friends get in to see their favourites.
It has been cold and wet here over the weekend. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying the spirit of festival with you all. Let the sunshine in. :flower :flower :wave
I got charges and guessing I got something
GOT GREENSKY

We got Greensky too!
And my partner just got two more credit card charges so maybe Leftover Salmon, Fruittion or Punch Brothers.
Have faith, they are still allocating tickets, our charges only came through in the last hour.
So pleased
Hurrah
This is SUCH a great way to build the excitement Cannot wait.
Well, I’m going to a show at the Sheridan, but I can’t tell which one yet. But hey, I’m going!
Anyone get new charges to a card that was charged last week? I have a $60 dollar charge which I assume is 2 to yonder on Wednesday and have request in for other nights but no further charges.
WSP on 4/20!! Should be a good one. Enjoy!
I received an email saying I did not win any nightgrass. However I was charged on my credit card. Will they send separate emails for both cards used?!
Each entry will get its own reply.
First-timer here–I was lucky enough to receive some extra nightgrass tickets that I no longer need, and would like to know the most “festivarian” way to exchange them. I already posted a note on the “Nightgrass ticket exchange” forum, but if/when I get a response, should I process the exchange (or swap) directly, or contact Planet Bluegrass to have the tickets put in someone else’s name, etc. Apologies if this question has already been asked, but I want to make sure I’m doing things the right way.
Thank you!!
I don’t think PB puts Nightgrass tix in other people’s names, unless will call maybe? Idk can someone answer this?
Last year I just did honor system with most people. When tix arrived in mail they were sent to the buyer after the buyer pays with PayPal or the other way around. One person said he would hold onto them and we exchanged at the fest. I guess with an even trade you just put them in the mail at the same time?
Never had any problems trading or buying Nightgrass tickets from this forum.
I have sent tix and received tix to/from people I do not know. All I needed to know was that
you were on this forum. I would not handle business this way on other sites/forums. Its always
been hassle free.
PB will change a will call name, but it’s easier to do a swap with hard tickets, particularly if you are bartering with the tickets.
I love this forum. I did score a Wednesday night Yonder via the lottery, the first time I’ve won anything in a Planet Bluegrass lottery, and got the rest of what I wanted in a day. With Yonder on Wednesday, Fruition on Thursday, Salmon on Friday and Greensky on Saturday, I’ll be lucky to get three hours of sleep a night. I’ll be looking to Pert Near Sandstone for festival advice yet again:
“20 Cups of Coffee in the morning
One for every beer I had last night
Sleep is for the dead
I don’t even own a bed
I drink coffee down instead
and I’m alright”
If a NightGrass ticket is already at Will Call we can change the name.
If Will Call was not selected we’ll be MAILING out your tickets in the mail. An envelope, via the post office. Old school.
…if the tickets are not Will Call the only way to sell/ trade them is to actually trade the physical tickets.
Since I have your attention
A heads up for you first timers, and a reminder for you vets about your NightGrass tickets…
If you won tickets in the lottery we will be mailing your tickets via the USPS in the coming week(s). The tickets will arrive in a plain white window envelope from Lyons, CO. There are no other marking on the envelope noting it as “NightGrass” or “Planet Bluegrass.”
IT LOOKS LIKE JUNK MAIL!
Keep an eye out for this envelope. Tell your roommates, parents, pets, whoever checks your mail, to keep all of your mail till you get your tickets.
We’ll send you an email once your order has left the office so that you can keep an eye out for the envelope. (did I mention it looks like junk mail?)
If you selected Will Call your tickets will be available for you to pick up at the venue the night of the show with your photo ID.
(all of this info is in the confirmation email you received. Please read it so you know what your responsibilities are regarding the receipt of your NightGrass tickets.)
Thanks for giving me an opportunity to psot all of that :lol
:cheers
D.
D - You should probably tell them that it looks like Junk Mail.
Sincerely,
CJ
PS. It looks like junk mail.
Wait just a second here. I thought all ticket mail delivery from Planet Bluegrass looks like JUNK MAIL. Well, it did in the past. Only thing we ever saw on the envelope was the POST MARK FROM LYONS, CO. :huh
:wave Hey Dustin, Thanks for all the hard work you must of put in for this lottery, and all the good info you’ve posted on the forum! This newbie most appreciates it!!
Hot Sugar, thanks for your optimism and confidence that regardless of what you got or didn’t in the lottery, you WERE going to get the tickets you wanted. That kept me going when I had doubts. You were right! Congratulations on scoring on all the shows you wanted! I also scored in the end, so thanks!
Getting excited now! :cheers
