Does anyone know if that SCI set is posted anywhere? I checked Archive.org and it wasn’t up there yet. Hopefully it shows up, those videos were nuts.
Here’s my newest recommendation; Leftover Crackers!!! If Leftover is gonna be there anyway, why not have them jam with Cracker (they are doing it this new years).
I’d kill for that. I have been a Cracker fan from some time, and it is actually their collaboration with Leftover Salmon that really introduced me to the bluegrass genre.
-I second The Holler motion !^^^! awesome band out of foco - ready for the comp for sure.
-Smooth Money Gesture for an “other” kind of band… NED FUNK
-Trampled and OCMS need to be regulars
-Wish Thile could bring the Yo-Yo Ma (sunday morning or SOH?? goosebumps) - Throw in Avett Bro’s and a Joe Kwon Cello-off
-split lip rayfield
-Head for the Hills…big time
-Bob Dylan?
I second Mr. Gepetto. OCMS needs to come every year.
I’m bringing my 15 year old daughter for the first time and she is praying they add OCMS to the lineup, though she’s stoked for the lineup they’ve already announced.
The Waybacks - long time wish don’t know why it’s never going to happen they have played with Sam Bush at other festivals! :band :argh
The Horseflies would be great. They rocked telluride in 2003. Where did they go? :huh
Mike West :eek
Caroline Smith and the Good Night Sleeps
Shel :flower
Kasey Chambers :thumbsup
Trampled by Turtles :medal
Todd Snider :drunk
The Greencards :love
Split Lip Rayfield :rock
Unknown Hinson :lol
They broke up for a few years and have just recently started touring again as I understand it. I’d love to see them show up. I don’t know too much of their music, but I love their segment from the 30th TBF DVD. It’s one of my favorite songs on there.
I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned this yet…I may have missed it…but David Grisman will be in CO in the second week of July (13th and 14th) which is kinda close enough that maybe he’d be added to the lineup.
The Horse Flies fairly recently played Rockygrass in 2010 which was way fun and then folowed with a late night show at the Wildflower I knew they took a little time off because Richie and Judy were touring with Natalie Merchant. I hated them when they first played TBF in 1996 but since have become one of my favorite bands. So I’d dig them this year at TBF
Jeff Tweedy would be an awesome fit for TBF, in my opinion. Would love to see Thile and Daves here too, along with Pert Near Sandstone. Heck, let’s throw Mr. Neil Young in too for good measure. Eh? Either I don’t think it is possible for PB to disappoint, the lineup is awesome already!
