Let's Talk Food!

go slow, simmer well, drink some rum, kiss your sweetie, don’t forget to use lotsa garlic.

So can we hook up at the show for a tamale or 2?

wish I lived closer… I tried to make some Tamales for christmas… Let’s just say no one would eat them…Got an easy green corn recipe?

Let’s hook up and put some bacon in your tamales!

If, by “In Town” you mean Denver, then no. I’m still in Grand Junction. Have you read about the job market these days? Holy crap! At least I’m still gainfully employed. Feel free to ship me some food over here anytime!!!

Chinese takeout is always good

Invite a Hippie Chef over… Buttt don’t tell the hubbubby :festival

Down Hippie !
:cheers

ahhhhh the things I can do with masa preperada :lol

I did not read through all 31 pages of this topic so I apologize for possible redundancy.

What/where are the yummy food stands at the Festival? I’m all about some greasy, festival food. Are there any coffe shops? :coffee

All of the food/drink vendors are located at the back of the festival grounds.
You can get coffee, soda, juices, wine and beer to drink.
As far as food goes, there’s pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, dumplings, stir fry, steak sandwich, gyro’s, and more. :thumbsup

Hi,

In the early morning hours, when it counts, and before the field opens…

If you’re in town, I recommend The Steaming Bean on Colorado Ave. Somebody there in Telluride roasts locally and fresh for them.

If you’re in Town Park/Warner, I recommend kicking in for “Unseen Bean” Gerry’s coffee if he is there this year (I hope he is) and doing the coffee thing (I hope he does.)

There is also a rumor that a small camp over in the primitive area is bringing a perc, a french press, a mokatop espresso pot and a milk steamer- but that’s just a rumor, of course, fuelled by over-caffeinated minds.

and there are tales of a Hippie in the muck that brews coffee drinks in two bellmen …hmmmm

:wave The well prepared festivarian knows their way to the tarp run viewing area, it serves the best latte in town. Sometimes with special additions, and sourdough waffles.

:peace

Amen Hippie !
:cheers

Anyone provide a delivery service for coffee and bacon sandwiches ?

What with the time difference, altitude and o/d on banjos I could need reviving before attempting vertical.

Ummm, maybe a new “job” for the boys when they aren’t selling ice… It can be arranged…

I’d bring you some bacon from the UK!

Unfortunately I doubt customs and security would allow it! Lol

I think it may be time to revive this topic. :thumbsup

Is anyone planning on bringing something different or special this year?

I’m hoping one of my Colorado Springs festivarians will grab something on their way out of town.
I’ll keep you in suspense until one of them replies. :evil
