Just how cold does it get in T-ride

I just remembered I have a pic from Sunday last year, walking back from the bean after warming up during M&S:

 STOKED!! :cheers

Sweet pic FOM thanks! :wave

That is an awesome picture. I remember warming up at Run A Muck during that!! :cheers :

Thermal tops and bottoms, two pair min.
Wool Socks, ditto.
Warm hat, Sun hat.
I like down Jacket.
Waterproof tops and Bottoms.
Sandals and warm boots.
The futon was real nice one year, just happened to have it, Honey was pregnant.
Inflato-mattress works for us, two blankets covering it up to lie on.
Down Comforter, Wool Blanket, and good 20 degree bag. Why be cool?
It will be between 20 and 50 . . . Fahrenheit.
Consider well your tent site, clear and careful, and build mote before rain . . .

Being from the South, I prepared for extreme weather changes. Rain Suit, warm hat, long johns, heavy coat, gloves, shorts, flipflops, etc. Layer up. And I got everything last year. Sitting in shorts during the day and bundled up at night. Cold rain, sleet and snow. Had a blast. Just prepare for anything. Being in Warner Field allow easy access to clothing and supplies. Wish I were headed back this year. Maybe in a few more years… :cheers Not a newbie…

It’s all about the puffy coat :thumbsup

It was so cold at TBF last year,

…Camp Run-A-Muck… didn’t. :budumdum

…it was hard to get toasted in Town Hall. :budumdum

…many of us wandered into Wander-In and never wandered out! :budumdum

…Camp Tiki froze their coconuts off! :budumdum

Does anyone have good suggestions on rain coats?

North Face and Columbia make quality gear. You should be able to find one at any outdoor or sporting goods store.

The easy solution is to bring two sets of “ski wear”. One for water skiing, the other for snow skiing.

Picked up an awesome 3 in one Jacket at REI by Northface. Waterproof shell, zip out liner that can be worn as a lighter jacket, and when you don’t need the extra warmth, and it is raining, you can wear just the light weight shell. :pirate

It gets cold enough to freeze your beanz off Nina!

Once the sun sets. Start adding the layers.
