Woo Hoo!!! I am proud to say that I contributed to our campsite by putting stuff in the proper containers and also by not spitting! However, I do want to voice a complaint that my Crunchy Frog drink was classified as “Toxic Waste”, was then placed into a sealed lead container by large men with respirators, and buried in the earth’s core. I feel this was a bit over-reactive after that minor spill that ate through Karlos’ foot.
Yes. :flower If it takes place in Telluride under a full moon, dressed in tie-dye, with glowsticks and flowers in my hair, and you in a lampshade, and a cake shaped like a slab of bacon. Maybe even a bacon cake. Those are the easy greasy pre-nup terms; afterwards, life will be a thick slice of bacon paradise. :dancing :kiss
Being a festivirgin this year at Camp Run A Muck, it was a pleasure loosing my virgin status! :flower
Being environmentally conscious is a way of life and it shows with these folks. It was an honor getting to know these people and I am a better person for it.
Congratulations Run A Muckers!
Also, I was extremely impressed with all the campers and the festival coordinators. I have never been to a cleaner campground with free toothpaste and shampoo to boot!
Well, if anyone is curious… our two tickets, last I heard, will go to Hippie Jerry and Kaptain Karlos, because they truly are the two gentlemen that bring in the gear for Run-A-Muck. I’m sure all would say that if it wasn’t for their dedication to the fine art of festivating, there would be no Run-A-Muck at all. Glad to be part of the crew that paved the way for them to do it again next year at FESTIVVVAAALLL!!!
Here’s to you Guys! :cheers <— that’s pale ale, NOT Run-A-Muck Red!
Thats one of the things I love about this Fest

Wow! I’m very very happy to recieve such good news… and a free ticket to next year’s TBF! Thanks a million Planet bluegrass!
Many thanks go out to my compadre, Hippie Jerry, who hauls tons of Run-A-Muck gear out to the festival from California year after year after year… Jerry’s been green from the get-go. :thumbsup
It’s the efforts, contibutions, and ideas of many that make Run-a-Muck what it is, and I’m pleased that we’ve won the green campsite award… Thanks go out to all Run-A-Muckers new and old! :thumbsup
Green is a way of life whose time has come. We all must step up to the plate in our daily lives and make choices, big and small, that reduce our impact on Earth’s fragile ecosystem. The greenhouse effect is real and Earth’s climate is changing. Our way of life is already in flux, so please respect and take care of planet Earth. It’s the only place we humans have to call home.
