Thanks for the advice. Looking at the schedule for last year, it looks like it could be just as awesome as the main stage. I guess some careful planning, which pretty much entails following the Punch Brothers and their cohorts around all day.

Yes! Following the Punch Brothers around all day sounds like a dream if you threw in picking a few tunes with them! I’d like to see Chris’s list of who to catch at TBF! Friends, I’m highly suggesting you get a good “rise up” on and catch The Cleverly’s! They’re the bluegrass version of Weird Al. I guarantee you’ll have a good time seeing them, but keep in mind they are pure comedy, backed by killer picking!

Elks Park is usually pretty chilled. Never had a problem getting space there. The whole TBG is chilled. You will be amazed how kid people are about sharing tarps, letting you go right up on the fence line during your favourite sets, etc. it is the happiest festival of all
