First Timer!

Great ! Now I really don’t know who to trust !
I’ll be practicing my American accent and revising my Telluride knowledge so thoroughly that I’ll just slip in unnoticed and pretend I’ve been there all along!
Not sure what festvigin sacrifice entails but I’m not too keen to find out…Keep a low profile, that’s my plan! :lol

:cheers This hippie thinks you’ve already blown your cover … :eek

Just make sure you keep your tea under lock and key so that Hooch can’t dump it in the creek.

:peace

:lol :lol :lol …and this Auntie will second that… you cover’s been blown, Ladybug. You’re a FestiVirgin with a Bluegrass Festival Old Soul. :lol :lol :lol

:thumbsup

Auntie Hope :festivarian2 :green

Heya Auntie…love the nick LadyBug …I think it should stick !

:wave Hear they announce more just before the show too!! I see John Prine is at Red Rocks that week, wonder if he might show up?? :cheers :thumbsup

:evil Afraid the little bit of French accent will give you away. Nobody can fly under the weather in TP. Jailhouse Rob
:lol :cheers :lol :cheers :lol :cheers

Hey everyone! This year will be my first year to go! I’m so excited! I have been trying to get my mom to come along with me to Bonnaroo for the past couple years, but she says it’s not her thing. I asked her to come to TBF, half joking and expecting her to say it wasn’t her thing, but she said yes! So, as long as the date doesn’t coincide with a wedding we have to go to, we’ll be there! :thumbsup

Hi all
thanks for the warm welcome and the humour :lol
Looking forward to getting to ‘know’ you all :cheers
layla

O Oh, Does this festvigin sacrifice apply to all the Uk gals? :eek :lol

We’ve not booked camping yet, like so many we couldn’t get TP so we’re hoping/praying we can get Town park or Warner on Resale tickets.

I have a newb question :rolleyes I hope someone will help me with. Is it better to have credit or cash for the festival? I looked elsewhere for the answer but have yet to find it. Thanks for all responses :peace!

Not very many vendors take credit cards (especially food and drink) so it’s best to have cash available. :cheers

Much appreciated your honor :thumbsup! I look forward to meeting you in June!

:wave The best thing to carry is a good friend with lots of cash… :lol

I’ve found that a ready supply of quarters for showers, five dollar bills for beer, an ice chest full of food in camp, and a bank card are also pretty handy to carry.

:peace

Hmm Its Not just the Girls !!
we are an equal sexed Sacrifiers we “abuse” all Virgins …
lol Im having so much fun with this …lol

Here we go again, the what you need list which omits the “15 tonne truck to bring it in”.

For clarity, we’re coming from England (land far away where we can still spell), by air (big metal bird shaped thing), and then by public transport (look it up on google if your not sure), hence carrying 50kg of propane (Hanks finest) for heaters bbqs etc, a 6ft chest freezer and a freshly slaughter buffallo may be impractical. Unless salegal is quite strong.

Our list of essentials is so far - money, credit cards, one clean pair of duds, and a sense of humour for getting through US Customs.

If youre not kind to us we will give you Madonna back :lol :lol

Ha ha sorry to dissapoint you Rob, but I don’t have the least bit of a French accent when I speak english

I might have blown my cover, but I’m gonna be so thoroughly informed in all telluridian knowledge by the time I get there (thanks to you guys :medal) that you wont be able to tell I’m a newbie!

Ahhhh so looking forward to June…

Ah… we had been warned that civilisation had not reached the further throws of the colonies yet but I had no idea that savagery was this prevalent. Time to get out the fake tan and practice my “How y’all doing?”

Another First Timer here who is one step closer. We have our accommodations secured! :thumbsup

You’re hilarious! Can’t wait to meet you guys! :cheers

:thumbsup :cheers
