Building the excitement - "bets" on the final names

I’m still on with my Steep Canyon Rangers “guess”.

I saw in the other thread that Ferg didn’t say “no” to Robert Plant. How awesome would that be??? I missed TBF the year he played, and I’m still kicking myself.

AF - I don’t think Ferg eliminated the Decemberists. That pick is still live, unless I missed something!

You are correct and I will update the list, sorry, I was scrolling between two threads and mixed up responses.

Anyone called Black Lillies yet? I’ll throw them out there. Fingers crossed, too!

Oh please let this be it. Xavier Rudd is the best! Been way too long since I’ve seen him.

Are you entering this as your tip?

FYI I will be donating homemade Apple pie “win lose or draw” Hmmm Don Henley and friends?
And Australia Fan the Apple pie comes in a jar and does not require a fork. The only necessities I can think of would be a lampshade
:lol :lol :lol

That’s a drink, right? :cheers

Ps you have Roseanne cash…

Ps no one has tipped Robert Plant I notice!

Gregg Allman.

I was all excited, thinking I had found the Australian band that Ferg said they haven’t announced yet, and then I realized that they already announced John Butler Trio. Doh.

I have to admit, I haven’t listened to them much, but I’m checking them out now, and I like 'em!

What about Keith Urban? He’s going to be in Grand Junction, just up the road, on June 19th, and his next date is in Ohio on the 21st. That would be a lot of traveling, but those guys probably fly everywhere, anyway.

Bring back Sarah Jarosz. Loved her set in Telluride.

Yes, I suggested Keith urban on the other thread…hmmm, I would absolutely go with Nick Cave if I had a choice…now he is very fine, very fine but I do hear that Keith Urban puts on a fabulous show so I know he will make people very happy ( though he isn’t actually my cup of tea). Xavier Rudd is touring in North America just before TBF and he is another very strong tip

OK, ok, ok I think Robert Plant without looking at his tour could be a shoe in. :flower

Someone else can have Keith Urban. I still have my guess! :flower

You are right Linds, will update it noe

Seeing that no one has them, they have the weekend off, and have never played Telluride.
My new guess is Alabama Shakes.
Back to tapping my maple trees, as soon as it stops snowing, over a third done, only another 1260 or so more to go. Maybe I need to offer a free TBF ticket for a volunteer helper next week.

It’s probably a fool’s errand to guess this, esp since Railroad Earth were already disqualified, but my guess is Warren Haynes feat. Railroad Earth.

As a result of their studio pictures, this pairing was one of the first things I was excited about, potential-wise, for this year’s fest. It’s been a bit mythological as a pairing, but Warren now has an August date (Peach Fest) featuring this lineup, and I’m really hoping they want to start a little earlier and come out to the box canyon.
