I also have a dateless cup! I was inspired to look at my previous cups, and my 2010 cup shares the same affliction. I guess you could say that makes them “timeless”? :lol
All the beer cups I saw advertised RockyGrass and Folks, but not Telluride. They were also minus the year.
There was a nice picture of the “Telluride Cup” in the program with the info about the new cup program. As for durability… nada. They stink as reusable (beer) cups. :huh
Hey everybody. I wanted to jump in here and clear things up a bit now that we’ve been made aware of the mix-up. Apparently, our cups for the Lyons events made it to Telluride and very few of our Telluride cups made it to TBF.
We’re SO sorry!
We’re going to save some cups, instead of sending them to be recycled into next year’s cups, to try and get them into the hands of those who have a killer collection of TBF cups going. There are two options we’ve come up with:
If you’re coming to RockyGrass or Folks Festival this year, stop by the Country Store and ask for your TBF cup and we’ll make it happen.
If you are not joining us for one of the Lyons events we’ll bring some to Telluride next year with us and have them available somewhere…maybe the Country Store, maybe the New Belgium booth, maybe both…we’ll have to figure that out 345-ish days from now
We’re happy to try and get some of these cups out to those that appreciate them, as long as you’re willing to work with us on the distribution!
You guys are awesome Dustin!
This years taller and skinnier version barely made it through to the Alpenglow celebration in Crested Butte on July 2nd, it became cracked beyond further use and I had to recycle it. Yet I am still reusing TBF beer cups from 2,5, or even 15 years past. Please help us keep this wonderful tradition going. I’ll send a spy to Rockygrass in August.
One never knows when or where Punchy will suddenly, without warning, require a nap underneath any random object that happens to be in a major thoroughfare.
