Where is the begging icon :huh :lol :flower
Last year we got several announcements the weekend before they went on sale. I think we may have even had a preliminary lineup by the 9th.
My internet sleuthing says you are 100% correct, which was Thursday of this week last year.

It’s never to early to start thinking about sunshine, bluegrass music, New Belgium beer, and FESSSTTTIVALLLL!
The preliminary 38th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival line up has been announced and everyone should look forward to a “Whole Lotta Love”. Robert Plant & Band of Joy will headline the 2011 Telluride Bluegrass Festival on June 16-19 in Telluride Town Park. Along with the Led Zeppelin frontman will be some local favorites and a couple new faces - Emmylou Harris, Sam Bush Band, Yonder Mountain String Band, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Railroad Earth, Emmitt-Nershi Band, Trampled by Turtles, Telluride House Band, and more to be announced!
We’re already excited for a big summer weekend here in Telluride! Stay tuned for more artist announcements and lodging specials…
Dweezel Zappa :evil
Very excited to hear about lineup-hopefully soon. Got my Holiday tickets yesterday. unfortunate that scalpers get involved!
Maybe they were hoping to keep thins quiet to discourage the scalpers- guess that didn’t work…Am I the only one who really doesn’t care who is in the lineup? LOL
:wave You are not alone, I’ll be there every chance I get! (with a 5gal bucket & ice…)
I’ll be there no matter who comes, but I still want to know.
Just bought my tickets! I did this just because I too do NOT care who is playing there, as long as it is BLUEGRASS! But for some reason Paul Simon keeps creeping in my head since Punch Brothers are with them on tour. That is just some wishful thinking of course. I just cant wait to hear what the lineup will be. :cheers
David Lee Roth in silver spandex, yessssssssssssss! :rock
Canned Heat revived, :rolleyes
Alice Cooper with props :flower
NY Dolls :eek
OH come on you guys. :lol
I actually think Mini Kiss is bringing the heat these days…Gene Simmons is too pre-occupied with his reality show.
The thing about the wish list for me is it’s been so good in the past I just want to see more of the same…but at the same time bands like Ed Sharpe I’d never heard of that turned out to be great. (I didn’t see their set, wife wasn’t feeling good and we skipped out) Imelda May is another one…I love her. She could play every year as far as I’m concerned.
Willie would be awesome
Cheese Would Be Awesome
Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt
But in reality if I could bring in the great, diverse acts that PB does, I’d throw my own Fest! :lol
Seriously, I’d like to see Todd Snider.
Oh geesh I don’t even care anymore, my body just knows its time for GOOSEBUMP CITY! :lol :medal
Just got back to the Forum! Hopefully everyone is having a great “offseason”. Any SOLID leads?
Just HAVE to say , still holdin out for Dweezel Zappa however. :flower
Looks like Darrell is playing Folks Fest. I didn’t expect to get him two years in a row, but I wouldn’t have complained.
That band just confirmed a show at the New Orleans JAZZ FEST! If they can play at a “jazz” fest, they can play at a “bluegrass” one, too.
Can’t say that I’d really like to see them all that much, but give me a few beers and I’d be singing along with every song (although they are certain to be playing a lor of their NEW album). And they would be using the first Theramin on the T-ride stage since Bela’s performance - can’t do one of their biggest hits without one!
I haven’t been to a TB Festival since 1997… will tickets sell out fast or can we wait post holiday? Thanks!! cant wait.
ps - can’t wait to see any band but seeing Wilco may throw me over the edge.
In years past they have not sold out for a couple months, but per the last newsletter 70% of 4 day passes have already sold. I think you’d be fine waiting till after New Years, but I wouldn’t wait much longer.
Although with the preliminary lineup coming out tomorrow it could sell out by XMas…who knows. :huh
